Shaping Policy Through Connection: Zero to 100 Acquired by the UK Government (DEFRA)

By July 20, 2026No Comments

They don’t traditionally teach professional networking in Whitehall. Until now.

I am incredibly proud to announce that DEFRA—the United Kingdom Government’s Department
for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs—has officially added Zero to 100: The Gold Standard of
Global Networking to its official institutional library collection.

This isn’t a casual placement on a commercial bookstore shelf. This is an integration into a
10,000+ person civil service headquartered in London, tasked with managing Britain’s
environment, critical food security, and rural policy. The individuals operating within this
department negotiate international treaties, manage infrastructure, and shape the policies that
govern daily life across the United Kingdom. And now, they have a data-backed framework for
measurable human connection directly at their fingertips.

The Standard of Verification

Government libraries do not acquire literature based on what is “trending.” They acquire based
on what is verified, repeatable, and architected to last for decades.

Five years ago, I built the REAL-ationships™ framework because the professional
development space was filled with rooms but lacked an empirical standard. Today, that exact
standard sits inside a premier UK Government department, a U.S. Department of Defense
(DOD) University, and global academic platforms reaching over 2 million students.
The environment changes, but the data remains unshakeable. It is the exact same empirical
backbone that drives:

  • A 279% increase in business leads
  • A 170% increase in professional income
  • A 391% increase in collaborative creativity

Two Governments. Two Missions. One Framework.

What makes this acquisition profound is the stark contrast in administrative applications. The
U.S. Department of Defense trains alliance-builders and strategic defense strategists. On the
other hand, the UK’s DEFRA trains civic policy-shapers, scientists, and environmental
guardians.

Two vastly different global governments. Two completely distinct operational missions. One
singular, cohesive relational framework.

This level of institutional cross-over doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when a
methodology is built right from the ground floor, balancing non-transactional human values with
hard, scientific metrics.

Thank you all for your unyielding support—it means more than you know. Knowing that a
framework born out of dedicated local research is now shaping how international leaders
connect across the Atlantic is a victory we all share.
