On July 15, 2011, I walked out of my full-time job for the last time to go all-in on networking.
It wasn’t a decision born from early success—it was born from a room where I felt completely invisible. At my very first traditional networking event, nobody greeted me, nobody sat next to me, and nobody said a word.
Instead of letting that experience drive me away, I made a commitment: I would never let another person feel that way in a room I was part of.
I set a goal that made people question my sanity—500 coffee meetings in 90 days—and hit it in 74 days. Those thousands of caffeine-fueled conversations became the foundation for a movement my wife Carol and I would build together: Zero to 100™.
Solving the Universal Problem in Business Networking
For decades, the business networking industry was dominated by legacy organizations, celebrity gurus, and charisma-driven “hustle culture.” But while everyone had an opinion, nobody had a validated, repeatable process.
There was no universal standard for how to network well. So we built one grounded in human connection, behavioral science, and measurable outcomes.
